Nourishing Families. Supporting Emotional Well-Being.
Hannah’s House exists to support families during pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood through nourishment, connection, and compassionate care.
We focus on the powerful link between food and mood—recognizing that what families eat, how supported they feel, and whether they are held in community deeply affects postpartum recovery, mental health, and long-term family well-being.
Your donation helps make these supports accessible to families who might otherwise go without.
How your gift helps:
-
✽
Nourish Postpartum Parents
We work with local businesses to deliver nutritious postpartum meals prepared with healing, whole-food ingredients to promote optimal physical and emotional well-being during the postpartum period.
-
✽
Build Cooking Confidence
We offer cooking classes to support expectant families in learning how to support nutrition in pregnancy by cooking with whole food ingredients. Participants of cooking classes leave with ingredients for a few meals, along with basic cooking supplies and utensils.
-
✽
Expanding local food access
We help families access fresh, locally sourced food through partnerships with regional farms and CSA programs—reducing barriers to healthy eating while supporting physical recovery, emotional well-being, and connection to the local food system.
-
✽
Lactation Support
Through both one-on-one counseling and breastfeeding groups, we support families with accessible, evidence-based lactation and infant-feeding guidance that builds confidence, reduces stress, and supports emotional well-being postpartum.
-
✽
Mental Health Counseling
We provide mental health counseling that supports emotional well-being during pregnancy and postpartum, recognizing the vital connection between nourishment, mood, and mental health.
-
✽
Rooted in Community
Whenever possible, we partner with local farmers, food producers, and educators—keeping resources local while strengthening the broader community ecosystem that supports families.
